Junior two-seat kayak David Hasihovic and Milorad Pilipovic placed fifth in B finals, finishing 1000m race in 3:27.241 min.

In B finals arrived junior Goran Popovic, C-1 1000m, in eighth place, 4:36.067 min, junior two-seat Jovana Kikic and Tanja Bozic, K-2 1000m, in eighth place finishing at 4:12.323 min.

After the 20 years the European Association has again put in us the trust by given Belgrade and Serbian Kayak Federation the honour to be the organizers of such an event.

The official beginning of the preparations of our team, Juniors and U23, for the forthcoming competitions, World championships for Juniors, Racice, Czech Republic and the European Championships for Juniors andU23, Belgrade, Serbia, is this week. Women are coached by Mr Janos Panda, in Bezdan, while men are working with Mr Miroslav Rodic in Backa Palanka.

Hotel capacity: apx. 200 beds in 128 comfort rooms and suites. All rooms are well equipped, climatized, with bathroom and include: direct phone line and color TV (satelite programme).

The Energy of Belgrade - Be a good host to young Athletes of Europe is a name of the event which was organized by the Canoe Federation of Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade on 1st of June in Belgrade, as a presentation of the European Championships in Kayak-Canoe for Juniors and U23, which will be held in Belgrade, on Ada Ciganlija Lake between August 30th and September 2nd 2007.

More than 70 Juniors and U23 from Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia and Belgrade participated in the Regatta.

Canoe federation of Serbia and the Oil Company of Serbia (NIS), a. d. Novi Sad, solemnly signed a Contract for General Sponsorship of the European Championships in Kayak-Canoe for Juniors and U23 which will be held in Belgrade, on Ada Ciganlija Lake, between August 30 and September 2, 2007.
